Accounting Specialist

Account Manager
The Account Manager works with corporate clients to provide print, promo, branded apparel and industrial supplies. Responsibilities include maintaining positive relationships with clients and suppliers and coordinating projects to ensure items are produced according to specifications, delivered on time and ultimately meeting the customers expectations.

Project management skills, attention to detail and outstanding communication skills are required in order to successfully coordinate projects. The Account Manager must be a highly motivated professional who takes initiative to meet customers' needs.

JOB TITLE:  Account Coordinator for a well-established, Metro Detroit based Distributor

DESCRIPTION: Performs administrative and office support for Account Executives and Managers.

DUTIES:

  • Greet customers, answer phones, convey messages and monitors the flow of emails
  • Help create and maintain solid relationships with clients and vendors
  • Provides product, promotional and pricing information by clarifying customer request; selecting appropriate information; forwarding information; answering questions
  • Data entry of sales orders and billing information

Order processing/ Order management: - Following jobs start to finish making sure all deadlines are met while keeping clients informed on a regular basis. Proofing, order tracking, customer service, sales order confirmations/ approval process, shipping info, etc.

  • Log orders into interoffice sales calendar
  • Order and return samples as needed
  • Log incoming packages. Ship packages when necessary, using UPS and FedEx on-line shipping. 
  • Attend supplier meetings
  • Other duties based on business needs

SKILLS:

  • Self-starter with excellent organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
  • Problem solving experience 
  • Flexible and positive “can do” attitude
  • Familiar with SAGE and ESP research tools a plus
  • Microsoft Office 

SALARY:  $16.00-$18.00 per hour (Open – Based upon experience). In addition to benefits
