The future is ours to create. If we can embrace the massive change surrounding us, anticipate, plan and innovate — we can be the disruptors rather than the disrupted. Join us for our third Michigan Leadership Conference where we gather top thought leaders to discuss and make sense out of our rapidly changing business models.
Our April 20 - 21 Event is shaping up to be even more powerful and life-changing. Our speaker line-up is world-class and the attendees include top industry leaders. Here’s what we’re delivering in terms of content:
On Monday, April 20 - we open with Heath Slawner, an Igniter with the Simon Sinek organization (Start With Why / Leaders Eat Last). He will help us each discover and articulate our personal and organizational purpose (Our Why) and build a purpose-driven life and organizations. On Monday evening we enjoy an evening on the shores of Lake Michigan at Silver Beach which includes a classic restored carousel with music from a vintage band organ, cocktail receptions and lovely dinner.
On Tuesday, April 21 - we continue with the skills and new thinking that professionals will need to thrive in our industry during times of advancing change. Ira Neaman, founder of Vantage Apparel and 2020 PPAI Chairman will talk about trends and trend spotting. Catherine Graham, CEO of commonsku will help us understand how Artificial Intelligence and other new technologies may disrupt or create opportunities for us. Paul Bellantone CAE, president of PPAI will show us how to transition from Transaction to Relational. Former PPAI Board Chair, Dale Denham will bring us “Hybrid Selling” and teach us old dogs some new tricks by combining the sales habits that we’re familiar with and the new tools that technology brings us.
We expect about 50 - 75 top industry leaders not only from Michigan but from around the company. As MiPPA shifts this conference to a bigger regional footprint, our steering committee includes the presidents of OPPA and PPAChicago. The event’s location at the Inn at Harbor Shores in St Joseph, MI provides a beautiful setting on the shores of Lake Michigan. Nearly 100% of the attendees of our first conference attended our second conference and we expect those who attended our second will also be attending our third. These people include several past chairs of PPAI, multiple MAS+ certified individuals.
We are able to make this high level education and networking event affordable due to the support and generosity of our sponsors. Sponsors position their companies as industry leaders and demonstrate a commitment to excellence and to thriving in times of change. Sponsors are recognized on all conference marketing - web, email, social, signs
